We are a group of mainly stay-at-home moms (and dads!) from all over the Greater Dayton area. Most members live in Centerville, Beavercreek or Kettering but we also have members living in Huber Heights, Xenia and Springboro, too. We also have stay-at-home dads and working parents that enjoy our group too. With so many activities on the calendar, there is something for every family-oriented parent. We love getting together and talking while our children play.

The Family Network was founded by national parenting expert Jody Johnston Pawel in March of 1987 and has been going strong ever since.

We have playgroups at people’s homes, playdates at the park, a monthly kid’s crafts, seasonal holiday parties, tours of local venues, themed luncheons, mom’s night out, book club and so much more! If you are looking for a group that will help you get out of the house to do fun things with your kids, while making lasting friendships, check us out. You can call or email for more information and to get a newsletter sent to you.

See you around!

We Are Not Your Average Moms' Group!

Variety: Our calendar is jam-packed with dozens of events. From baby playgroups to kid crafts to parenting discussions to dinner with friends, there is something for everyone!

All-Inclusive: Events are designed mainly for stay at home moms or dads, but all parents are invited to join along with all familiy members-birth through school age.

Family Oriented: Events are designed for you to experience them with your children rather than them being watched by someone else in a separate room.

Flexible: Attend as many or as few events as you like. There is not a limit nor set number of events you need to attend each month.

Accessible: Monthly newsletter delivered to your door including our calendar of family-friendly events, articles about parenting, tips from experts and fellow moms, fun activity ideas in the Dayton area. Plus a private message board to chat with other members about parenting, recipes, cleaning tips or just life in general.

Wider Membership Base: Our membership is not limited to one city. We have members from Centerville, Springboro, Kettering, Beavercreek, Oakwood, Huber Heights, Miamisburg and more. We have 50+ families in our group, so there is always something to do.

Leadership/Volunteering:
Want a break from the home routine and the chance to feel like a responsible adult again? The Family Network provides many opportunities to get together with other parents, help out our group and our community.

Compassionate: We are a not-for-profit, non-denominational, not partisan group focused on helping our community and each other.
